Longing To Feel Peaceful? Here Is How

By Chaszey Sandhriel

The Holidays are notorious for revealing our worst sides, including that of our family's. When we ask people how their holidays were, we get a "I'm so happy it's behind me" response.

I'm sure you've heard this before, perhaps you yourself have said the same thing.

So while the bitter tastes of dysfunctional family dynamics may linger in the air for a bit longer, we have to remember that everyone wants peace. Yes, even those that seem to actively prove otherwise by purposefully stirring up old grudges.

These days a lot more is happening than just messed up family dynamics being forced to gather up around the Christmas tree. Has it come to your attention that things in general have shifted on our planet, not just for us as individuals but for all of humanity?

The number of tragedies that has happened to many of my close friends over the past 3 months seems to break a record with relationships having dissolved, couples separating or getting a divorce, people gaining weight or getting sick, the list is endless. It's been a true up and down ride for many people in the world. The reasons for this shift are a multitude. To a large degree our mass consciousness affects all of us, including those of you who do not watch the tube and abstain from reading papers, another big part is simply astrological; these are exiting times for human mankind's evolutionary life journey.

As winter rests upon us people tend to hibernate, cuddle up, talk less, meditate more, eat more (a lot more) and act more introverted. This is a time to reflect, whether we are consciously aware of it or not. These days the sun is "out" less time than the moon each day - in a literal sense; and as you know, the moon controls gravity, the mysterious, the depth of our soul, our dreams, intuition and so on. Moon also means contraction; we hold our breath. The moon affects our third eye, amongst many other things. The sun on the other hand radiates out, it is responsible for our extroverted personality, and yet it is in control of our solar plexus, if we let it. The sun means expansion; we breathe out. This month and next, I would like to encourage you more than anything to breathe, breathe deep and breathe with a purpose and goal in mind. Here is an amazing breathing exercise that you can practice on a daily basis, especially during those stressful times.

For the next few months my encouragement for you is to breathe, to breathe in and out with a deep purpose, with goals in mind and with intention.

The following is a breathing exercise that comes with miracles attached, practice these techniques several times a day, and in particular during those stressful moments.

- Breathe in deeply filling your chest cavity and your stomach with air - Contain your breath for 8 seconds - As you let out your breath, do so as slowly as you can - Breathe in and out seven times

If you have not done any deep breathing exercises you may get a feeling of being out of breath and you may have to take a regular breath between the seven deep breaths. That's okay. The best times to do this exercise is first thing in the morning and last right before retiring while laying down in your bed. You can also do this exercise while you are driving. Or when you are waiting in line and anywhere where you remember to do it.

Remember that when you take a breath in, you also breathe in the mysteries of life, so breathe in only what you can handle and what you desire. When you breathe out you are activating your breathe and activating your solar plexus with the sun in our galaxy. Our solar plexus is a tiny version of our big sun and has the exact same function, capability and effect on our life and body as does the sun to Mother Earth. Our sun is a giving sun, so when you breathe out you are also in that giving mode. Just like the sun helps things stay warm and makes things grow, when we breathe out we do the exact same thing for others. Therefore it's important that we are filled with only love, gratitude and blessings for our universe and humanity, aware that just as the rays of our sun reflect off the moon (and thus never ceases to be visible) the same rays we reflect into the world also affect people's lives. Our breath not only gives life, it also sustains life and has the power to create life. So go out there and literally create the life you have always dreamed of, and remember to create with love.

Poodle History Lesson

By Rick London

When I first started my cartoons, I was thinking of dogs. It was going to be a totally dog cartoon (that is, Londons Times Cartoons). But the more dog cartoons I created, the more I wanted to do cats, and relationships, and people, and science, ad nauseum. Oddly enough, after I opened my RickLondonCollection.com store, I started getting more and more emails from poodle owners and lovers wanting to know if I could kindly put up more poodle-oriented merchandise I finally did, but first, I felt compelled to learn the history of the poodle. Though I'd owned dogs all my life, and my first cousin owns and loves her standard poodle, I knew very little about the breed. I was surprised at what I learned.

Though the origins of poodle history are enmeshed in mystery, people started noticing canines that actually resembled the poodle as we see it today. It was, most likely the original water spaniel, known for its hunting skills, particularly bird hunting and retrieving. Oddly enough, it technically should be known as the German Poodle, as that is where it truly originated. With Russian influence it became standardized as a unique breed in France, first, and known as the French Poodle. In Germany it was still known as the pudel; pudel means to "splash in the water". The European breed has a corded coat, rarely seen in the U.S. The standard poodle came first, then the poodle (the most common), and finally the miniature and toy breeds. All have a long and rich history. Though it is not known exactly when the poodle entered the U.S., AKC began registering them in 1886. Only the miniature poodle is in the non-sporting group of this breed. Though many Americans don't use them for hunting, they remain prolific at hunting, with birds being their forte'.

Until this day, in France, Poodles are used for everything from truffle hunting to entertaining the royal court, not to mention duck hunting.

The UK received the poodle in 1874. For 36 years they were all shown together and in 1910, changes were made to the way they were shown; put in different classes according to size and appearance.

The foundations that were developed in England became the cornerstones of the breed in the United States. Precisely when the Poodle was imported to the United States is not known. The American Kennel Club registered its first Poodle in 1886. The Poodle Club of America was originally founded in 1896. Shortly after its establishment it was disbanded, and then reorganized in 1931. The P.C.A. used the Standard and Rules of the Curly Poodle Club of England as its base for establishing the Standard in the U.S. The same Standard now applies to all three sizes of Poodle, the only difference is in the height measurements for each size. The Standard and Miniature Poodle are shown in the Non Sporting Group of the A.K.C., and the Toy Poodle is shown in the Toy Group. The F.C.I. (Federation Cynologique Internationale) recognizes four sizes: the Standard, Miniature, Dwarf and Toy.

Fundamental Principles That Each Blogger Should Know

By Zigfred Diaz

After going through several blogs and books on blogging, making money out of your blog or website and marketing on the internet, it has been my observation that all bloggers agree on certain things that each successful blogger has religiously followed throughout the years. Here are the principles I observed:

1.) It's all about passion - Articles you write in your blog should be something that you are passionate about. Topics that you have somewhat achieved a level of expertise in, topics that puts you on fire, topics that makes your eyes wide open when discussed about, topics that awes and amazes you and opens your mouth wide.

2.) People First ! - People should be the primary consideration when writing in your blog. This should be kept in mind, although search engine optimization is something that should be seriously considered by all bloggers. The most important thing is that people keep coming back to your site because the posts in your blog actually helps them or is relevant to them. Things like keywords, tags or any other gimmick out there in order to make sure that we all each get a higher search engine should be of secondary consideration. Legendary blogger John Chow aptly said it when he said "People First before Google."

3.) Blog frequently - The length of the post is not as important as it's frequency. Posts may be long or short depending on the topic covered. What is important about the blog is that the blogger frequently updates his blogs.

4.) Blog Away !- If you are new at blogging, don't worry about your site statistics or if there are no comments on your site. It may take a while for search engines to crawl to your site. You don't have to worry because if you write good posts with people first in mind, the traffic will just flow.

5.) Learn more about blogging - Bloggers should not stop learning about how to be more effective in their craft. Learn more about topics on how to be effective on your blogging, about search engine optimization, etc. The moment you stop learning, you stop to blog.

6.) Read, Read Read !!! - What can you possibly blog about if you do not read ? You must have a voracious appetite for learning. You must also have a passion to tell your readers what you have learned.

7.) Be organized, schedule the topics you blog about - Having a blogging schedule will force you to come up with something to blog about. Others may disagree with this idea as they just write on whatever they feel about writing. For me personally, I work best when I submit myself to an organized way of doing things. In addition to that, following a blog schedule will help me have a balanced number of posts on the categories that I blogging on.

8.) Personalize your blog - When readers read your post they must feel that it is as if you are personally talking to them. Don't use highfalutin words nor should you be too scholarly that your readers will have to look into a dictionary before they could even understand what you are saying. Talk to them in layman's term as much as possible, no matter how technical the subject is. Inject some humor if you like.

9.) Blog excellente !- Make sure that you edit your posts and that you review your layout and presentation. Your posts and blog must be very user friendly. Aiming for excellence in blogging very much pays.

10.) Be a blogger for life. - Blogging should not be viewed as something that you are temporarily doing since you don't have anything to do as of now. It also should not be viewed as something which you just do in order to achieve a certain amount of money and afterwards you will then stop since you have already achieved your desired goal. You should be a blogger for life. While blogging may bring you monetary "blessings," always consider that such is only secondary. As you live your life each day, having an attitude of being a blogger for life will make you more appreciate the experiences that comes to you since you will always be looking forward to writing it to posting it in your blog.

Transparent Lingerie--why Try It?

By Lulu Dallas

Before the Industrial Revolution the vast majority of Europeans and Americans wore underwear made from WOOL. Only the wealthy upper class could afford cotton or silk. Fortunately for us, the Industrial Revolution made the production of cotton cloth inexpensive and fast. The gift of inexpensive cotton cloth to the masses was a great moment in the early nineteenth century. Since then undergarments have come a long way-particularly for women. The evolution of women's lingerie has passed through several phases of long drawers, corsets, underskirts and eventually bras to become the attractive easy-to-wear items of today.

Lingerie, the French word for underclothing, now serves a broader purpose than just protecting clothing. Women wear it to feel good and look better in their clothes. Many of today's fashions demand transparent lingerie that does not leave lines or visible seams that ruin the line of clothing. Bras now have smooth molded cups for a natural look. Thongs and sheer seamless panties become invisible under clingy pants, dresses and skirts.

The term lingerie refers to more than just bras, panties, and slips. It also includes night gowns, robes, teddies, slips, stockings, garter belts, and corsets. For many women the idea of buying risqu items is enticing but they are reluctant to purchases them in stores. Buying high-quality seductive lingerie from on-line shops is easy and they offer more sizes, styles, and options. Plus-size lingerie is now available in feminine and attractive styles to fit curvy figures. Good-fitting lingerie will make women look good and feel good about themselves.

For weddings and holidays lingerie makes a perfect gift. Presents of lingerie are romantic and intimate. Sexy, risqu or transparent lingerie appeals to both men and women and it adds some sizzle to couples' love life. To find styles and sizes that will suit the woman in your life do a little research. Many companies offer moderately-priced, high-quality items. With a little time and care you can find the perfect gift.

Top Reasons Why You Should Import A Car From Japan

By Davion Wong

It can sound crazy that anyone would import a car from Japan when you can buy it at the local dealership. But the fact is, if it were a foolish thing to do, then the thousands of people like you who are doing this must be nut cases! You may be curious why anyone would be importing a car from Japan. So here are some common reasons quoted by these guys.

1. Wide Selection of Choices Available

Whether you are in the US, Australia or Canada, you may be limited by the small selection of car models back home. This is quite unlike the situation in Japan. Everyday, dozens of car auctions take place. Thousands of cars, both vintage and the latest makes are displayed for sale. It is only in such places that you can import a car from Japan and for that matter, a unique and rare model at times.

2. Rock Bottom Prices

Another major reason why so many people import cars from Japan are the rock bottom prices they are paying for the wheels. Local prices really pale in comparison to what you could be paying over in Japan. Even when you add the import costs to the purchase price, this amount is still a few thousand dollars below what you pay locally.

3. Good Reputation and High Quality.

Japanese cars are obvious winners due to their proven quality and reliability. Japanese car manufacturers are famous for their love to detail and extra features. Even if you import a used car, you can expect great condition and low mileage.

4. Image Building

A beautiful Jap car is an image icon. Young hot-blooded males would gladly drive the latest GTR to pick up their girlfriends. Even the respectable businessman can find a choice SUV to import. And the best part is, no one knows it costs you so little!

5. Profiting from Reselling

If not for yourself, you can import a car from Japan in order to resell it and make a fat profit on the difference. In fact, there are plenty of car dealers who earn their living on reselling Japanese cars. The business is flourishing, so why not joining it? Don't worry about lack of experience - nobody learned how to import and resell cars in school. There is plenty of help available when you are just getting started.

6. Outsourcing is Available

It does not take a rocket scientist to know how to import a car from Japan. In fact, there are lots of people who can take care of all the nitty gritty details and assist you along the way. It can be as straightforward as just choosing the model you want and your Japanese contact can help you to source for it and arrange for the inspection, bidding and to get it on board the transport. There are also many useful step by step guides available online that teaches you how to import a car from Japan.

If you want to find out more, read up my blog, especially the detailed guide written by an experienced full time car dealer on importing vehicles from Japan.

Dont Download Wii Games Until You Read This

How To Download wii Games

It looks as if the nintendo wii is going to be the one gift that people are going to scurry around to try to find this year. The console is so pupular due to the fact that it is so interactive. Almost every game that they have actually forces you to get involved with some type of movement and im not talking about just your thumbs. With its popularity many people are starting to wonder if its possible to download wii games. Luckily, the answer is yes. Unfortunately, it is important to be careful when choosing where you download wii games. Here are a couple of things you should keep in mind.

1. Is the site legal? More and more people are getting slapped with lawsuits for downloading content from the internet. Its important to make sure that when you download wii games that it is always done legally.

2. Is the site clean? With all of the different dangerous files on the internet its more and more important that you dont compromise your computers security when you download wii games. There are many malicious people on the internet whose sole purpose of logging onto the internet is to infect computers with a virus.

3. Does the site offer good content? If you are in the market to download wii games obviously its important to make sure the site gives you access to all of the games that wii has to offer.

4. Is it affordable? I have found that the most affordable option is to find a "mega site". These sites allow you to download wii games in an unfettered and unlimited manner with a membership. They guarentee that their files are 100% virus free and even give you all the software and instructions necessary to get the games to disk and play them in your console.

In my search to find a good source to download wii games I came across some great options and some that were very poor. Torrents and P2P sites were some of the worst I found. There content was for the most part virus infected trash that wasted my time and my bandwith. Stick with what is safe and trusted for the best results.

Perfect Game For Preschool And Toddlers

Hullabawho, hullabadoo, hullabaloo; I'm not sure if the kids got more laughs out of my funny ways to say Hullabaloo or the game itself.

We were on vacation at the family cabin and wanted some civilization so we went shopping at Wal Mart. I went to look for something for the kids to do and found hullabaloo and Cadoo, (both Cranium.) I finally decided on hullabaloo because it encouraged physical activity and listening skills. I put it in the cart, much to my husband's dismay and luckily it was under the $25.00CDN limit he set.

It was an instant hit with everyone at the cabin, 5 little girls. - ages: 2,3,3,4& 6 and one 6 year old boy. Even my too cool teenage cousins played it with my little girl and of course grandma had to get in on the dancing action too.

The best part, even after being played on very sandy floors it isn't any worse for wear, just a little dirty. I have a huge issue with toys are not durable. The parts are large, brightly coloured and durable.

The game consists of 16 colourful play pads in various colours and shapes with an image printed on them. The talking audio console is large, needs 3 AA batteries (not included) and has one big red button, that's it. No small breakable pieces.

The kids place the pads around the room, each steps on a purple cranium pad and pushes the big red button. The console tells them what to do, "Crawl to a yellow," "Spin to a square," "skip to a triangle." The winner is announced at the end of a sequence, "Is anyone standing on the piano?" The winner is then instructed to "take a bow," or "do a funky dance." Then it starts over again. Its so simple and the kids just love it. I love that they can set it up and play it without adult help.

At most we had 12 kids playing, at least 1 kid played. The box says 1-6 players aged 4 and up but 2 year olds with parental encouragement love it, and baby-sitting cousins tolerate it, while grandmas just like to make fools of themselves. My daughter gets it out regularly to play by herself, the console doesn't bother me. Usually I can't stand toys that talk, maybe it's the volume control on the console, the variety or the voice but it doesn't bother me at all.

Educational value for any toy is a top consideration to me. Hullabaloo doesn't disappoint, it teaches colours, shapes and some word recognition. It promotes activity, following directions and listening skills. Can't ask for more than that for preschoolers.

Any preschool birthday kid gets this gift from us and it makes a great birthday party game. For some reason they catch on quicker to it than musical chairs. Maybe because no one is ever out of the game, in fact the console tells them to share the pads; so three kids can be on the same pad and all can be winners.

We love it so much we bought the DVD animal version. The DVD is a gimmick and you need the TV/DVD to play, I found it a little hooky and the kids needed to look at the TV all the time so it was constricting. The original can be played anywhere. We mixed the pads up and had a huge game for my daughter's 5th birthday. Since some of the instructions are shape and colour all the pads were usable. They would share those pads with pictures when asked to find them.

To summarize, fair price, fun, easy to use, durable, for 2yrs to 6yrs, as many players as can fit in the room, educational, no one left out, and best of all no small pieces. A great addition to your games room.

Board Games for Family Fun and Healthy Interaction

Cranium Game
Laughter and playful chatter can be heard emanating from the dining room, where a table is surrounded with family and friends. A closer look shows that the meal is over, dishes cleared and everyone is engaged in the fun of playing a board game. Board games that challenge your knowledge. Board games that require marble movement based on the randomness di roll. Handcrafted or mass produced board games have long been a catalyst bringing people together for a healthy mix of fun, education and conversation.

It is the group dynamics of face-to-face, around the table interaction that makes board games the continued choice for all ages. Good old 'analog' table-talk provides all the elements of getting to know and understand people in your family and in your circle of friends.

Board games that challenge your knowledge and are sometimes best played in teams. Games like Trivial Pursuit, Cranium and Scrabble fall into this realm of testing ones mental agility, knowledge, recall or deductive talents. Board games that appeal to a broader age group might offer some element of randomness, like the roll of dice, while exercising your strategic and tactical skills. Popular board games like Trouble (also called Aggravation, Tarbles and Wahoo), checkers, or Monopoly are more family oriented, since young children to senior adults can play together.

So how do you choose the game that appeals to your family? Will complement your next friendly gathering?

1) often the simplest games will be the ones that you bring out most often when family or friends gather. Experiment here with 2 or 3 choices. Even mix it up with two different games in a evening.

2) let the reaction from the participants be the measure of approval. Having fun, good natured banter and laughter, are all indicators of an excellent group. If you sense tension, uneasiness or otherwise unhealthy group dynamics, this is could be an indicator to stop, change games or somehow alter the game play.

3) It is all about generating Fun and good conversation and encouragement for everyone playing the game. Remember "it is only a game'. It's not about wining or losing. Good board games will even draw in observers, those non-participants that gather along the fringe.

4) Good memories and conversation about past played games is always a good indictor that you have a 'winner" of a game.

5) a board game should be portable and mobile, no batteries required and adaptable to play at home, at the cottage or while travelling.

6) Having a handcrafted board game that is hand built by a friend or family member can also add that special touch of a 'traditional family game'.

7) Board games that elicit future challenges, like, "Great game, we'll win the next time", or "That was just the warming-up game, now prepare to lose", are good indicators of a board game worth playing again and again.

As with the advent of any new technological innovation, it was predicted that computer video games would all but eliminate the analog board game market. Not so. Board games still enjoy plenty of playtime. Most board games have transformed into alternate digital formats. Games like Scrabble, Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Cranium, The Game of Life are in the top 10 of board games in the USA. Some of these are now online as well - Scrabble, Clue, checkers, chess, sorry, risk, monopoly are a few.

There is something charming about a locally crafted board game. Variations of old board games like Hasbro's Pop-o-matic Trouble and Milton Bradley's Aggravation have surfaced as handcrafted wooden Marble Board Games like Tarbles (from Cape Breton Island) and Wahoo. These lovingly crafted marble board games are a great family gift. Steeped in memories of wonderful family times, handcrafted board games become heirlooms passed on to future generations for their playing pleasure.

Board Games are perfect for playing at home, at the cottage or on the road. They bring people together for fun and create warm and lasting memories of family gatherings. Memories cherished by all ages. Memories that will surely bring a smile to your face.

The girl toy of the year is made from Hasbro Inc., and it is the Butterscotch Pony from the FurReal Friends collection. Every girl dreams of having their very own pony and now they can, with the realistic sounds and movements of this lifelike little pony.

The boy toy of the year is the Spy Video Car made by Wild Planet Entertainment Inc. This small remote car has a built in infrared camera so spying on siblings and friends is great fun. You can see that top toys 2007 for both boys and girls are fun and educational.

The top game of the year for both board and CD Rom is Cranium’s Zooreka. The whole family can enjoy this game, by building your very own zoo. Every move keeps the players thinking. Wait, there’s more than just building a zoo, there’s also danger lurking at every move in this game of chance.

There are some great choices if you are in the market for a new toy, but wait – there are more top toys 2007, so let’s carry on.

The best outdoor toy for the year was a tough pick but in the end, it was Radio Flyer’s Fold 2 Go® Trike. This compact handy trike can go anywhere. It comes fully assembled and folds for easy storage or transport. Now you can take your child’s trike to Grandma’s house. The low center of gravity makes it very stable.

Educational toys are always a popular choice and this year the toy that was chosen for providing the best skill development was the Small Globe™ 2.0 made by Oregon Scientific. It comes with 30 activities and you can make use of the cordless smartpen to navigate through all the learning activities. Your child will learn countries, populations, currencies, leaders, and so much more.

Every child needs a good activity toy and this year one of the top toys 2007 in this class was the Moon Sand™ from Spin Master. Moon sand is the new play dough. It never dries out and it can be used repeatedly, and it expands to twice the size of the package. It’d designed for ages 3 and up and your kids will find hours of playtime here.

In our modern world, electronics are important so this year the Digital Camera from Fisher Price ® is the top pick in top toys 2007 placement. There’s a lot of high technology in this Kid tough camera that will keep the imagination flowing.

We’ve covered just a few of the top toys 2007 choices, however there are others, and what’s important when buying your children toys is to buy quality, well built products, that stimulate, and help your child grow.
